I think I counted 7…. and I think I felt a full egg under her still so maybe the last two will hatch today
She’s not getting up yet so I guess there still could be some to hatch! I hope they do

There is one egg left… not sure if it’ll hatch… it looks like there is a tiny pip but not sure…

@cavemanrich what should I do with the last egg? Should I wait till tomorrow?

Also, does anyone know how coloring works? They are all bantam Cochins… dad is red or buff… moms are black, partridge, and red or buff… do the babies come out the color of the mom or could they be either after the mom or the dad? Just curious… I have 5 yellows, 2 partridge.. I think, and a black one.

Most certainly.
In an incubator with ideal temp conditions,, most chicks will hatch about same time.
If temp is slightly lower in incubator, the hatch may be a day or so delayed.
In the natural world,, the temp is what the hen was able to provide, so there may be some time difference between first and last.
