All My Chickens..... a coop opera!

I will put mine in at night so they wake up together the first morning. I don't like to force it at dusk. The worst of the roost time pecking occurs after they have rooster and before it gets dark. It can be vicious.

I find that but having them wake up together this is lessened. It does not however go away.

This is what my neighbour does too. It really eases the tension and the flock think it feels right.

Here is a pic of the guest room... it’s not 100% yet.. I want to hang some pictures and add a sheer curtain... you can’t tell much by the pic but I painted this old dresser and distressed it... it looks so good! I need screws for one handle...

I’m so proud of the 3Cs! They have been fully in with the flock for three days now.. things are going pretty well.. the beauties still chase them a bit but they seem fine... well, tonight I found them in the smaller roosting area where the beauties usually sleep... on the roost!!! And three of the beauties had moved over to the big roosting area with the big gals.. I’m proud of them as well!! Sorry about the pics but I had poor lighting... the first pic is Daisy, Betty, and Wilma in the big section... second pic is Minnie still in the small section but allowing the 3Cs to share the roost!! 3Cs in the last pic...

Thank you so much!! Don’t know if you noticed but I do have a chicken lamp and a chicken pillow... also the camouflaged cat ... but I have some barn pics and the horse one on the dresser I’ll hang...
And just to brag a little on my frugalness.. I get that from my Goosie... EVERYTHING you see in this room cost me under $350!! I purchased everything you see just for this room.. except for the dresser I bought a few years back from the Goodwill for $45 which I added into the total price!

Oh, and the teddy bear... is mine from when I was six!
