All My Chickens..... a coop opera!

Have Daisy and the other flock members showed interest in the pool?
You don't know my flock so let me bring you up to speed on them.

Daisy, the greatest hen ever, passed away over 3 years ago and Patsy probably almost 2 years ago now. They were good friends.

As far as the pool goes, everyone has fallen in at least once. I lost one hen, Elphie, to hypothermia and nearly lost a young cockerel, Ned as well.

Chickens do float however. So if you are quick, there is no harm done.

In the last photo Maleficent is exciting the pool. She is the only hen I have seen get out on her own.

(An old picture of my GLW, and her friend Freya)

(She has been in the feather recovery flock for months, but not once has she grown anything back. And there is this one rooster who favors her terribly....)
We have about eleven hens in the recovery flock, and the Brahma rooster who runs it is the cause of her loss of feathers, so I need to find a place to put her that is rooster-free.

I think I already have a good place in mind.... I will see if it will work today.
Lovely! I missed 2fer Tues!

Wait... 2fer T-wos= double whammy!? 😮

I know... coooorrny! 🤷🏼‍♀️
