It’s funny cuz MahMuh will fly up to a hanging out roost that I have in the corners of the coop and they are pretty high for bantams… but she gets up there and the babies want to get by her but they can’t… except today I saw the black one up there with her… she can make it cuz she is the only one with smooth feathers… the frizzles can’t fly very well apparently

Frizzles have a lot of trouble flying. Betty really had trouble flying anywhere.

So I called it right about the three roos… they are in fact cockerels and I had an incident yesterday that was pretty bad! I came home to one of them in the nest box beat up and eyes sealed shut… I couldn’t imagine what had happened until I found another one with the same wounds just not as bad. So I tended to the wounds and his eyes opened and he seemed fine so I decided to put him back in with the others but wanted to check something so I got the other beat up one and put him on the ground (he was already going to bed) and sure enough these two went at it! It was crazy! And I’m shocked at how badly they can hurt each other I took the one that wasn’t as badly beat up out because he seemed like the aggressor… and today decided to take the other two out until I can rehome them which won’t be until after the 9th…. But not sure what to do with the mean one who is by himself.
And do any of you think it would be okay to take Charlie Brown and put him with the two little guys? He has never met them…. I do plan to rehome him as well….
