All My Chickens..... a coop opera!

I was hoping to spend less than I did on material but the total cost will still be the same as a coop you would buy from Tractor Supply! But the quality SO much better so I feel great about that!

You forgot to state that this coop is made with LUV Which makes it priceless

What you are considering for the overhang wings,, The (polycarbonate) clear, or tinted panels are good. Other option, are opaque, but still light transmitting fiberglass panels, are somewhat stronger. That translates to.. when screwing down to wood,, less likely to crack from screw tightening down too much.
There are panels made from PVC, also. Never experienced with those, but PVC is strong material, and I think somewhat flexible.

Yall, yall, yall! I did so much work on the coop MYSELF
Hubs has to work so I had him show me how to use the saw yesterday… today I used the saw for the first time in my life! I measured, cut (check out all those angles!) and screwed everything up! I put up the roost bars and the nest box… Doug had started the back and I finished it… I did the whole front myself, rehung the door, and even put the locks on! I am beside myself!!!! It is just so gratifying!!
Oh, and the wire! So we are nearly done

The black tub is the nest box.. I had used it for awhile in the other coop as an extra box and the gals liked it so I said to heck with building nest boxes we’ll just use what we have! I did screw it to the wall… so it’ll do for now… I can always build some if they aren’t digging it. Notice I said “I”

Oh, and the ends of the coop will most likely be decorated for Christmas cuz all I see is Christmas trees

Oh, I definitely will!
I am planning to put most of my Christmas lights and decor in my backyard this year… in between my house and my moms house.. all the coops are in between so I want to put lights along the fences around the coops. I spend most of my time there so I thought I would put it where I can enjoy most!

I got some PVC panels
They have a blueish tint to them and it actually seems to reflect brighter light inside the coop which good! Unless, I’m seeing things
I’m excited to see how they hold up.. I have put the plastic panels around parts of the big coop but they are starting to crumble.. and they have turned a yellowish color.. They lasted a good few years though so… I think these will do better
All that’s left is to put the panels and screw down the roof… I did the wire on the floor yesterday! The wire is the hardest part Will be done this Saturday! I can’t wait to move them in
