All My Chickens..... a coop opera!

I know! It gets me so frustrated because here I am buying pullets to be sure and still wind up with a roo
I so hope I’m wrong! I did mention it to the girl and she said that the gold laces are tricky sometimes… but she would make it right.

Of my 4 sexed day old chicks one is definitely a little cockerel.
They will be 9 weeks old tomorrow.
Here he is last night.
He thought he could roost for the first time. His Mom disagreed and called him back into her brooder box for the night.

So she would exchange for a pullet, if a roo? That would be great.

I think so but she is just about out of Polish so I may not get a replacement but perhaps a refund… so I guess it’s good I went and got another one so I will at least have three….

Awww, poor guy… he should have rebelled … he is big enough to roost
