With this last front we are getting down to about 20 at night and 40 during the day… but this weekend it’ll get down into the teens and only like 34 day… I know some of yall get much worse but dats cold for us!! Doing all I can to keep my little bantams warm… they are just so tiny… but I also remind myself of the wild birds out in the trees… I guess if they’re okay then so will the chickens be… and my little d’uccles I think has a broken leg or something going on I checked her leg but I don’t see or feel anything wrong… she struggles and limps around and holds her foot up… so trying to keep her warm and comfortable.

How are everyone else’s temps?

We've had some temps like yours, but it's usually colder than that in January & February. It will be warmer the next 15 days, low 40's to low 50's daytime and above freezing overnight.

I hope she heals up quickly. Nothing on the bottom of her foot?

I didn’t see anything… I looked again yesterday. Today I am going to put her on the ground and see how she does… I have been keeping her in a part of the roosting area during the day with food and water and at night I put her with the rest... she doesn’t come down in the morning with everyone and she also doesn’t get on the roost at bedtime… soooo
Hoping it’s just a sprain or something
