Things you wish you could say

Non-knitters ignore this.
It'd be pretty paired with a fine silk in a tonal color. I worked with something similar, years ago. It was a beast until I got "the feel" right, then it was one of the nicest pieces I've worked ... and SO SOFT!
I'm giving it another try on larger needles. Not quite big enough to make lace, but looser than the first try.

I always knit on circular needles, and the join between cable and the needle HAS to be smooth, especially for soft yarns like merino. The first needle I used wasn't quite perfect in that respect, and the current one is much better.

I'll post a picture when I get more knitted. This will be slow going.

The knitting bug bit hard this winter, and I don't have enough other yarn to make anything more than small projects. Now I don't have to either wait until I can get to a decent yarn shop or buy cheap (crappy) yarn at the grocery store.

I wish I could say... I can pick between pictures I've taken, especially when they're imperfect, to share about the ponies we went to see for my birthday.

I wish I could say that safety bar was not in the way.
And that I thought to bring the digital camera from the car (after purposely putting it in the car), into the event so I could take proper pictures. Instead I had to struggle with my phone.

I wish I could say they weren't double bitted (some fighting it), tail docked, and that I couldn't smell thrush from some of the teams hooves at a distance. Seriously.
I wish I could say I can just enjoy the things that make me feel alive, without noticing their pain and thinking about what creatures we humans are.
But there were fun parts, and we're going to go see an agility type driving event in March.

Doctors offices: " Arrive 20 to 30 minutes to your appointment or you will be charged a no show fee of $50, in order to see all our patients, our scheduling is not flexible."
Doctors offices in reality: "arrive early so you can sit in a room for an hour before we get to you."

Unbelievably, I sat in the waiting room yesterday morning for less than 5 minutes.

When someone's taking time out of their day to try and help you, and you follow up with a Queen of Melrose meme-style response... c'mon. Respect people's time and stay on topic.
... but that was funny! :)
