You really have to like chickens to raise them. I mean eggs don't cost that much. I know fresh eggs taste a lot better than factory.But some of the people on this line have to spend a lot of money and time to keep their flock alive. We have 17 chickens and it's a real effort to keep them safe. One predator can take them all out in one night. Come out in the morning and all there is is feathers. It's happened 2 times to us. Foxes both times.
