These three are ten weeks old. Out of my two White Leghorn pullets and one or both of my Marsh Daisy roos. I was sure they were all pullets. Then yesterday they got rained on and I could swear I saw pointy saddle feathers on the brownish ones. Please people, tell me I was imagining things!

Here's all three of them:

I'm being silly, right? They ARE all pullets, aren't they?

Edited 15th December: They are actually all boys. See end of thread for explanation, shameful head hanging and photos...

My 10 week old Orpington cockerels are definitely more red that these. I'm just now getting where I can spot certain breeds and sex them (I am soooo lost on silkies tho). I would say that the two pretty colored up ones are most likely pullets but reserve judgement on the white one. The comb looks a little more red and a tad bigger on that one than the others.

Like I said, I'm just now figuring this out so.... listen to the other people

Naw, not the white one. I'm absolutely certain she's a pullet. It was just the other two I had a sudden panic about. They all have quite big combs because they're half Leghorn, but their face furniture is all roughly the same size and colour. Combs and wattles are all similar in appearance. Don't go telling me all three are boys now. LOL!

Gypsy, I think it is the contrast between the feathers and comb that make the white one look more cockerel than pullet. That's why I wouldn't even guess at it.

Let me know when you do figure them out. I'm still working on the "Hey! It's a girl!" part of sexing at a glance
