All the Christian Homeschoolers!

I seen some pics of the smoke on the news, it's crazy, I'm sorry
thank you.
Thats good news!
it is! one side of the sky is super dark and one side, I can see the sunset. This morning was kinda creepy though. It was orange outside and like darkish till 10 o'clock. Rain would probably help clear it more.

Yes, thats about it.
There are fire sheds in most localities, with the locals (mostly farmers) making up the RFS.
And then in towns, of course, there is fire and rescue, and they are paid the same as police or anything.
are there a lot of fires?

on a completely unrelated note, has anyone done anything with candling before? I've never done it and have no clue what I'm even looking for.

In some years, yes.
The last bad fire season was 2019/20 when there were fires all around us, but luckily none came within around 50 to 100km.
Since then, it has been mild and damp most of the time, so its been a nice break. They are predicting next year is going to be a return of drought though.
There was one grass fire summer fairly near us, which was looking a bit worrying, but they got it under control quite quickly. I think it was that one which really made us want to get into it.

Like eggs?
I have done a fair bit, enough to consider myself moderately good at it. How far along are they?
