Speedy didn't get very far yesterday, so I think we can assume she was conked on the head by a bowling ball and was out for a day.

She has temporarily lost the ability to speak.

*All the frog-fish replied to that was an affirmative "Yup" and and then pushed her over the edge of a vertical shaft that apparently led to somewhere.
Or nowhere. Time would tell. If they had any semblance of time at all in this crazy place*
