How did I know that was coming..
Bwahahahaha
I know it is, me, my dad, and brothers are planning a camping trip doing hammock camping.
That sounds like so much fun. Last time I went anywhere to camp, it was at some retreat and it got down to 27. That was fantastic. Otherwise, I never really go anywhere. Just my front yard.
Ok, awesome! Thanks for the tips, much appreciated!
Glad to be of help! Also a fun tip, if you get a chance, stack as many hammocks as you have on top of each other between the same trees. It's just a really fun(and slightly dangerous) thing to do. You can climb them and just chill out twenty feet in the air. I think I've been in a six hammock tower before.

Indeed.
Dang, that sounds fun! You're really making me want to hammock camp now. Lol.
You and me both. I had to get a job to get out.

YESS! I've seen that before, and it looks like loads of fun!

Hi Matty,

Sorry to hear you don't have your chickens anymore. I enjoy doing the "chicken TV". I am from Germany and if you don't mind I would like to hear how things are in Germany. I still have my whole family there. I assume you are at "Ramstein".
Hi! Watching other people’s chickens here and on their YT has helped. :)
Germany is beautiful! You can see a lot more stuff in my thread about it. I’ll tag you!

Hello all, I guess I will join the club. I’ve been homeschooling since COVID, I originally went to a private Montessori school. During the pandemic, we went to online classes (zoom), and I discovered that I am pretty good at working from home. However, the kids on the zoom class were disruptive (As middle schoolers can be), so I left Montessori entirely and have been doing my own thing for 3 years now.

My favorite subject often changes, I just know that I don’t like math. I just finished Algebra 2. I used to like English but parts of speech/ participles and all that nonsense have sucked some of the fun out of it for me. I still enjoy writing (essays/ usual schoolwork, journaling, and one ongoing fiction story project).

I feel the need to say that I hate romance books of any kind. HATE. I stopped reading fantasy almost entirely because it is just romance disguised as fantasy once you get past middle school-level reading. I lean more towards sci-fi these days, but I otherwise don’t read that much.

I, unlike others, thoroughly appreciate the lack of social interaction. I can pick and choose who/ when I want to hang out with, unlike in real school, where you get stuck with the same idiots your whole life. Of course, this is easy for me to say as an only child.

Although I don’t know “what I want to be when I grow up”, I am working hard to get into a good college (not ivy league level, but NC state or…I don’t know what else, really). Sometimes I wonder if all the time and effort is worth it.

Anyways, that’s me. That turned out to be a whole book practically , guess I do really like writing.
That’s so awesome you are working so hard to get into a great school. I am 40 years old and didn’t care for many years, decades actually, and finally started caring a couple years ago. I am going to be graduating with my associates this semester. You should be very proud of yourself and all the hard work you did to get where you are. Your education is something you will have forever and it is absolutely worth the effort! Praying for you and your continued strength as you continue your journey! <3

What type of bows do you prefer? I've always had recurves. I like them because I can feel "contact" better.
It's most likely be a compound bow, that i use.
Hunting deer, I assume?
You're correct!
I'd definitely make photography into an actual hobby if my ancient Pentax didn't drain through four batteries in an hour. 😅 As it is, I collect the occasional rocks and a lot of horse models as my hobby. Like... A genuinely scary amount of models. They are great photography subjects when I do get out!
Lol, i could see where that would be a little annoying.
Oh yeah, I bet! I actually need more subjects to shoot. :p
