all who are hatching quail

It is very exciting when they hatch. All my kids sit down and watch the incubator with a bag of popcorn when the hatch starts. Our last batch hatched 180 out of 230. And the hatch event only lasted 3 hours. I love my quail. We now have 100 in the incubator and they are due this coming Wednesday in so excited!!!!

Wow!it is so cool!they're so quick from when they first pip to hatching!we now have ten hatched and all fluffed up in the brooder and waiting on the last 14!

I hope the all hatch.
They almost definitely won't, but I know how you feel. I run 120 a week 6+ months out of the year and have never had them all hatch I've never had more than 95% and all my eggs come from my own yard. My normal rate on that size of a run is usually between 80-90% and sometimes it's been as low as 70%. It would be very very impressive mathematically if they all did hatch, considering the number of variables involved.

My best hatch was 94% bit I normally run in to 80 to 90% as well. It would be super awesome to get 100% hatch. It would be like my friend his nanny goat had 5 kids in one litter ... So the unthinkable can happen.

One in the bator when I woke up this morning. Several more working on getting out. I knew they would be small, but wow. How exciting.

Up to 20 out of the 70 so far. Some just pop right out, and some take hours. Burnt a whole Saturday staring in the incubator. Lol

Yeah, its been fun. Me and my two young sons have been watching all day. Hopefully alot more still to come over the next day or so.
