Me and Titika live very close, so if her bobs are laying that means mine should start very soon! I looked at the egg my mom found. It definitely isn't coturnix, but it is pretty big so I don't know who layed it

Haha that sounds hilarious! My mom knows what cage it came from, she just doesnt know what type of quail they are....so I am going to have her go out and show me where it came from

Hey i got a quick question im trying to hatch my first half dozen coturnix quail eggs in a homemade incubator i put them in earlier today and i checked on them and the temperature was 108 it was 101+ for only a few hours are they fried? Thanks

is it white no spots most likely bobwhite, tan mountain, if you have valley they should be laying too.

mine have been laying for months. probably because i had a light for them up until February.

mine too I to lazy to deal with frozen water so they get heat lamp during cold months. which makes them lay sooner and makes coturnix lay year round.

think some of the white eggs could be from the coturnix. They aren't as pointy but the bobwhites build little nests and always lay in the same spot. Everyone else just takes advantage of it

I havent had a light on them since January, so I am excited that they are finally starting again.... the coturnix started last month but its been really slow
