I am so sorry for your loss. You did everything you could for her and she knew that at the end. It sounds like you are a very caring chicken keeper. She was lucky to have such a great life and to live to five! What a beautiful girl

Just an update for all. She didn’t make it, she passed yesterday. Thank you for all your help and advice!! I do at least feel like I did something to try and help and for that I appreciate all of you!

She had a long beautiful life, and she passed in a loving environment, knowing she was safe and well tended. It is a painful loss, certainly we have all mourned these flighty girls, but at least you know you did everything to make her comfortable and she was well up to the final moments.
