Aloof chickens raised with 2 Guineas

So I am raising flock number 2 with 4 hens and 2 guinea fowl. I wanted to raise the guineas with chickens so they would be a little tamer and not so prone to roam, which has worked like a charm . The only thing I have noticed is that the hens raised with the guineas are the flightiest, most aloof chickens I have ever seen. All the girls from my first flock , all chickens, are the sweetest . They love to hang out around me and the kiddos and eat right out of your hand.

I was just wondering if anyone else has raised their hens with guineas and noticed them being a bit more aloof than other chickens.

To me, the words “flighty” and “aloof” are not synonymous so not exactly sure what you mean...

well I mean they are aloof as in they don't care to be near people. And like the guinea fowl they are flighty or skittish...moreso than regular chills.

Guessing it might have more to do with less handing of flock #2?
