Alpaca fiber - Sold

I don't know what a good price would be. I see on ebay they sell it by the oz, average being $1per oz up to $5. Just though someone could tell me,

I have different lengths depending on where from the alpaca it came from. May also shave the llama too, he he.

I didn't want to depress myself after eating all those Xmas cookies, so I'll have hubby weight them when he gets up, he he.

Raw unwashed fiber does not garner anywhere near the price of clean wool roving.

If I bought it I would send it off and have it cleaned, carded and made into roving for spinning.

I have found alot of the raw fiber on ebay isn't all it is cracked up to be so I take their pricing with a grain of salt.

Im very interested in both lama and alpaca fiber. If you want too id be interested in just the fiber. I can send it in to be made into rovings. Please give me a price. You can pm in you wish.

Sorry Hubby has been very sick....I bit the bullet and stepped on the scale. The two bags weight a total of 4 pounds even with the two light trash bags. I've tried to determine it's least value but prices vary greatly everywhere I check. Anyone have an idea..... or make an offer?
