    Little to cold for rising bread dough properly? Got a free brooder lamp no one is needing? Tah Dah! Warm bread dough.

    Well my brooder light is actually my lamb lamp meant for sickly/orphaned lambs. All that I do is change the bulb from 250W for lambs to 150W for chicks. The lamb lamp comes with a suspending chain and a guard over the bulb to prevent burning so is ideal for both jobs.

    It's always good to use these expensive bits of kit for as many things as possible.

    My brood pen is an old rabbit hutch.

    I like the idea of raising dough with the heat lamp though!
