pullet2 hen, you are funny. Thanks for getting in the spirit of this.
In fact, thanks to all of you who jumped in admitting they didnt know.
I knew there would be many who would say,
"Uh yeah dude, those tabs have been there forever. Like, duh, I totally knew about them already...."

But it really did hit me like a revelation. All these years and I didnt know. So, what ELSE aren't they telling me?

You mean all these years of fighting with those darned boxes trying to keep the roll in while not slicing off my hands was just because I wasn't smart emough to read the blasted box? Geeez, I feel like an idiot!!! That's it! I'm not going to work tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

I didn't know either but in my defense I really don't use the stuff much. Don't even remeber the last time I bought, I know that I have not bought plastic wrap for over 2 years - bought Al foil for the first time in 2 years a couple of monthes ago. So I am going to go with "I don't use it enough to care" and sneak off to see what cha all are talking about.....
