Hmmm, at my house it was the egg! I bought eggs, I hatched chicks, therefore, the egg came first!

Well the egg wasn't a chicken egg, it was a jungle fowl egg that the first chicken hatched from so i say the chicken came first

Chicks came first! At least at my house they did, then came the coop, then came the higher fence they still jumped

then came the egg that no one wanted to sit on or eat because it as the first egg

What came first, The Chicken or the Egg? Is the wrong question. It wasn’t a Chicken until the first Neanderthal started cooking food and said: “Everything I cook tastes just like that two legged feathered thing I ate last year” and the second Neanderthal said: “You mean that two legged feathered thing that flew up in your face and scared you so bad you had to get another loin-cloth?” “Yeah” said the first Neanderthal, “ It made me Chit-in my loin-cloth” “Well, in that case I’m calling these two legged feathered things Chicken to honor your discovery”

Does make sense. Of course this question is just what you think, and I don't really KNOW I mean I don't know how we could test it to become a law, or even a theory (a hypoisis that has gone under many experiments, and passed them all). We will all just have to wait and see for a 100%.

Yeah, sorry, but a book surely isn't going to solve the riddle.

I'd certainly say the chicken though, and not because it was "created," (man did by the way, not God) but because before chickens were less complex creatures, not eggs. . .

PS - Chickens only came first to those who ordered chicks.

Mine began with eggs. . . .
