So, I went out to the coop the other day to collect eggs and found this:
It's a very small egg. I thought it was my Welsummer's first egg (almost 7 months old). It's really light for a Wellie, but it's her first and she's hatchery quality, so totally possible. Makes sense, right?
But this morning I go out there, and I see Dandelion, my Silkie cockerel, run straight into the nesting boxes, making a BAWK BAWK BAWK noise. He's 6 months old.
Could HE be a SHE????
I am waiting to see if there's a tiny egg in there after HE emerges....
