Am I dealing with early bumblefoot or not?

Sooo, after a few days of foot baths, this is what Gunner's feet look like before tonight's soak...

Is this still bumblefoot?? Is this normal healing??

So this is really kinda puzzling, as he walks around fine and still no signs of any infection, though even fungal doesn't click all the boxes. Any one have any ideas?

if she doesn't seem to be in pain than i wouldn't worry to much about it. keep an eye on it and see what happens. treating her for the wrong ailment could do more harm than good. but if it isn't bummblefoot i don't know what it is... sorry😬.

All good, and he is still boppin around doin cockerel things! I'm kinda getting to the "wait and observe" point again, but Epsom salt baths really don't hurt anything so I'll keep at it for now until something changes.

What is the coop bedding like? Is it dry where he walks around? Has it been wet and muddy. Damp bedding will promote foot pad dermatitis and bumblefoot.

The coop bedding before I moved him inside because of this was sand. None of the other birds in the coop have bumblefoot, just gave them their monthly check Sunday. The fact it is grey now before his baths I find odd too. His current bedding in the crate are pine shavings. When he was outside snow was still on the ground, but a few days were muddy. But once again none of the other 6 birds have this.

Well, I forgot that a couple of us originally suspected that this was frostbite on the footpads, so that might be why it is taking awhile to heal. The spots may eventually peel off leaving healthy skin underneath. I would think about stopping the Epsom salts soaks, or slack off a bit, and see if it comes off. I am not a vet or an expert, so use your own best judgement to do that.
