Yep, as usual, y'all are right. Mind you, I said as usual.

I intend to keep a closed flock and I don't intend to brood chicks except as needed to replace ones lost in my original flock. If and when it's necessary to let my hens brood, I want pure brahmas; so your advice makes perfect sense. Thanks bunches!
