Am i over reacting? Hatching help

I ground up chick starter food but I am afraid to give it to them because they are barely touching the water.....I dipped their bills in the water and they kinda had a taste but not enough to eat with if that makes sense....what do I do

They may not be ready to eat anything until they are about a day old. Just keep the water and feed available to them. They are probably still resting from the long journey of hatching.

X2

They'll eat when they're ready... a day is fine, they usually still have yolk in their abdomen they are absorbing... as long as they drink, I wouldn't worry or change anything...
I never wet my ducklings feed and they do just fine... when they're interested they'll peck at it... :)
