Am I over reacting or??

Vinegar is my jam for cleaning. If I use anything that I worry about chemical wise I rinse and do a vinegar rinse even for my household cleaning. I added a bit of cinnamon to the water for the anti-inflammatory properties. Ducks and chickens seem to like it when I give them a flavor boost. I hear a sneeze I tend to get extra though I watch because my ducks will dip their heads and sneeze to clear their nostrils. My ducks have been absolutely resilient (luckily) and just are champ but like you as soon as I notice something that raises a flag of I don't like this I try and start fixing the situation. Good on you for taking extra steps for them! I think you'll end up with very happy ducks with how much care you're putting in already.

Just sounds like normal duck quacking and peeping.
Make sure they get fresh water daily. You can add a splash of apple cider vinegar, but even then, I'd make sure they have fresh water available also. I would get rid of the teflon pan though. I know it's not heated, but teflon is generally unsafe for birds.
I only clean water dishes once every few weeks with a swish of white vinegar and a scrub brush.
