omg lol mine still arent laying, im about to give up and turn em loose. i was only keeping them penned for the eggs. is that pic of all your broodies? that is too funny i love it!
am i the only one still waiting on eggs?

That is some of them,i am in broody h@ ll right now,i had 17 now i have close to 50 that i know of.
just about every day i have a broody comming out of hiding with new chicks.

I have not shipped any keets before, but I suppose I could (as long as it's within CA) depending on how many you want... I'm not sure what the regulations, restrictions or requirements are on shipping keets tho, so I'd have to get some info on what's needed to ship them (besides the obvious poultry box, lol)
Right now I'm only selling my Pearl Greys, Pied Pearl Greys, Royal Purples, and Whites. I do have a couple of large hatches coming up in the next few weeks, so I should have a good variety and quantity of those colors...

With just 16 Hens laying for me I'm already doing a double layer of eggs on top of the turners in my 3 table top incubators and hand turning all the top eggs... and it's a PITA, lol.
My midget white turkeys are holding out. I get maybe an egg a week from three hens. Right next door, boubon reds, at least four of six are laying, and most have been for weeks! If they don't get the message soon, they'll might get another message. Dum da DUM dumm DUUUUMMMMM!!!

They can stay in there up to 48 hours, but a lot of my keets tend to start pecking toes of other newly hatched keets after 12 hours and I hear a lot of screaming going on... so I take the fluffed and dried keets out and get them into a warm brooder with starter crumbles to peck at and water dish (with marbles in it) with poultry electrolytes added.
My eggs usually hatch between day 24 and 27.

Mine are not laying yet either
Found a fourth nest yesterday. Have ~ 55 eggs between all of them. I want a bator sooo bad but with a possible government shutdown who knows when I'll get one. How long are the nest "good for" ? No one is setting on any of them. Exciting times!!!!

Hopefully they are laying their eggs in safe areas protected from predators... otherwise the Hen and the eggs are at risk of being a free meal for a hungry predator (unfortunately I am speaking from experience on this, sigh). If they aren't laying in safe places... then (if they were my Hens) I'd collect the eggs and break up the nests, for their safety
