NICE! I went on my first hog hunt last spring...now completely hooked! Guess in the Southern part of Oklahoma they got'em pretty bad....but land owners are wanting an arm and leg to go take them...I got some land...just no hogs, lol. (Guess that's not a bad thing though, hear they pretty much destroy any they get on)

With how much Hogs destroy the natural habitat and how over populated they are - I could really see myself doing regular hog hunts if they were in my area. Good food plus I can feel like I am actually doing something to help the local wildlife by killing the invading over populated and destructive species.

The only bad thing about NE Tennessee is that there aren't any wild hogs here.

We regularly bring a 22 pistol when we lock up at night. We had a bad rat problem a while back and they would come out about 9-10 oclock and so would my hubby and kids. Now we bring it just in case. Our neighbors laghed and called it our family bonding time. We have 3 pens and they would each take one and see who killed the most/biggest.
