Am I the only one.....

oh gosh. It gets harder as hatch time gets closer. Even my DH was having a hard time not laying next to the incubator to see if he heard cheeping. You are not the only one....

Today is day 21 for me. I was so sure that one was going to hatch out last night out of the 19 I have in there. I think I'm starting to imagine cracks in the shell, lol. Little buggers are gonna take their time to spite me, I bet. This anticipation is killing me!

Day 20 for me and I spent a half hour this morning when I got home from work staring at one of the eggs because every time I looked toward another, I swear it moved slightly! Unfortunately, when I got out of bed this afternoon, I found the humidity had dropped to 47%.

I used an eyedropper and a straw through the vent to add more water and it is back up to 70%, but we shall see. Praying, praying, praying they hatch!

You see that you are not alone!

I even took an old computer, installed skype (with automatic answerring), a webcam and a microphone inside the incubator! and during Hatching days I checked regularly the situation while in office (with headphones......). I hatched some quails and it was unbeleavable to hear them make noice even the day before zipping, just like coordinating the great zip event!

Good hatch

OMG.....my first hatch last month, I think I spent the first 18 days looking every 10 minutes and the last 3 , I pretty much camped out in the floor in front of the bator.

I keep thinking I will do better this hatch.....but, I doubt it. It is so exciting to see what color Silkies pop out of the egg.

Well, today is day 22. Nothing yet.

I have the temp at around 100 and the humidity is about 69, give or take. Should I spike the temp a little in case my thermometers are off? I have 2 in there, and they both roughly read the same.

I don't think they are ever going to hatch!!!
