I like to name mine after flowers and plants too. There are some very interesting varieties. Here are a few that I came across this year that might fit for your girl:
Thyme. Believe it or not there is a ground cover called "Walk on Me Carpet", and it's a fragrant thyme. I can't grow it, I'm allergic to thyme, lol, but it sure is pretty! It's pink!
Lavender
Lilly. There are now lillies that are used as ground cover. I know, I bought some and planted them. Came in a wide variety of very pretty colors.
Hosta
Alysum
Candytuft (pretty and white, similar to Alysum)
Periwinkle
Golden Sedum
Crownvetch (pretty and pink, but probably not a good name for a nice chicken! Lol!)
Cotoneaster
Black Eyed Susans
Echinacea
Shasta Daisies
Columbine
Clematis
Or.....
Since you have Ivy and Fern, how about Cinnamon? It's a type of fern. So is Lady.
I could go on and on with names. Anything here catch your eye? I think Cinnamon would be pretty because of the Salmon coloring as well.
