Amelia is broody again!

Should I put the baby back under her mommy?
If she seems cold or distressed or has been out from under Enola for more than a few minutes, sure.

Do Enola and Amelia get along? You could try putting them in together and having them co-parent, with close supervision at first. Although it's possible that Amelia will end up just stealing Enola's chick for herself.

I had two co-parenting for a few days once. Their chicks were the same age because I gave the second broody a couple of the first broody's eggs when they were close to hatch. The older, more experienced broody took over completely after a couple days and the younger broody lost all interest. Which was fine, because it was enough to break the young one of her broodiness and everyone was happy.

Enola was Amelia’s first baby! Amelia’s babies are two weeks old now and unfortunately I don’t the playpen where I am keeping her is big enough for both.

Honestly I would leave them be and keep a close eye on them. If no one is really bothering them you should be good to go. Is enola done hatching? Does she have more eggs under her?
Yes she’s all done. Her other egg got popped pretty early on by one of the other chickens. I have the coop door closed right now should I just open it and let them be? Enola is at the bottom of the pecking order and some of the other chickens chase her around.

I would, and just watch. Broodies are something to be reckoned with! Lowest in my pecking order is on her 2nd clutch this year, zero issues from the flock

Today it’s raining so all the chickens are staying in the coop. I blocked Enola off because my chickens can get bored and get into trouble! Before I did all the chickens were looking at the baby chick it was so funny! I’m planning to let Enola do her thing once it stops raining so hard.
