he may have used to breed show Ameraucana, but this isn't one of them.

I don't know where you are in VA, but I'll have some wheaten/blue wheaten sometimes through the fall/winter. I'm near OC, MD.

Possible he owned BRs and a BR got loose unknowingly. Or perhaps he was lying. Can never know.
He's striking, though. Please put a full grown picture.
