ameraucana? Lavender Orpington? .. an alien 🤷🏼‍♀️👽 what am I!?

Hi chicken friends!

We received some baby chicks from a friend - We know they got them from a particular breeder that only breeds Lavender Orpingtons, Brabanter & Ameraucana. - There are 2 chicks that I’m assumimg are Ameraucana, as they don’t look like our orpingtons did at that age! But we can’t seem to get ahold of anyone to confirm our guessAnd well, google isn’t always on par! ...sooo does anyone know what these cute peeps are!? They are just over 3 weeks old!

They don't have cheek tufts or beards, so I'm going with Lavender Orpington. Chickens age at different rates, you know.

Lavender orpington mixes. The reason I say mixes is because they have feathered feet when lavender orpingtons don't

the one with a shorter tail looks like a lavender orpington, the other one is a bit to dark to be a lavender orp and it has a much longer upright tail so probably an ameracauna lavender orp cross. it is very likely they are both mixed though

The one in the back with the upright tail may be a Brabanter mix as they have upright tails. Maybe half Ameraucana half Brabanter??

If you look closely at the leg of the chick closest you will notice light leg feathering.
