Oh yea I think I see it. Maybe maran mix since they are so lightly feathered....If you look closely at the leg of the chick closest you will notice light leg feathering.
Not ameraucana mix because they would have beard and muffs.

They don’t look much like my orpingtons! They don't have cheek tufts or beards, so I'm going with Lavender Orpington. Chickens age at different rates, you know.
Interesting !! ThanksThe one in the back with the upright tail may be a Brabanter mix as they have upright tails. Maybe half Ameraucana half Brabanter??
Interesting for sure! Now I’m even more curious ! Their temperament is so different from my orpingtons too - these ones are cra cra and aren’t too keen on people! Haha thank you for your input!the one with a shorter tail looks like a lavender orpington, the other one is a bit to dark to be a lavender orp and it has a much longer upright tail so probably an ameracauna lavender orp cross. it is very likely they are both mixed though
They told me they only have Ameraucana, Lavendar Orpingtons and Brabanters, I have a few others from them and they are all looking like they should lol .. so who knows !Do they have Marans by any chance?
