Yes, it's semi-dominate. Even if the bird carries one copy of the Feathered Foot Gene Pti, feathers will show on the legs, & feet of the bird.I see . So your saying then if one of the parents is a breed with feathered feet then it will definitely show up in the offspring because it's a dominant gene?
Roo is not from the same background as my hens. Just picked him up at a vendors market for 5 bucks. Loved his colors and didn't care if he ended up being a rooster. None of my other birds have bluebell. One hen with the white ears is actually a barneverlder Rhode Island mix but lost most of the white as she matured.I noticed hens with white ears they from same hatch Bluebells have white ears and there is no breed standard and the are Americana Mix
