I've had more then several pullets with down curving tail feathers at the age...
would have had me worried if not for other obvious female attributes.

That's interesting. I've never seen that in Americaunas and have raised a fair few pullets.

Well, they weren't Ameraucanas, but most were EE's.

Not sure but when anyone writes Americauna(long story and history of hatcheries mis-representation)...I wonder of they are really EE's, which can have many different breeds in their genetic makeup.

Yes, Easter Eggers are often mistaken as Americaunas.

Sigh... no crowing today or egg. He/she does puff up at the other pullets, but some of our pullets do that too. But this chicken has always been our most dominating for sure. I have even done pretend crow noises to stimulate it if it's a roo, lol! Nothing...

No. For sure no egg (none from any of them yet) and no crowing I've heard. I haven't been able to spend much time watching them lately since I'm back to work (school). Still is the boss of the others though!
