Do you have any more pictures of when you first got her? I have some āameraucanasā from McMurray and Iām trying to figure out what color they will be. She is gorgeous!!!!I bought her as an ameraucana from Murray McMurray hatchery, and some people on BYC have said she's an ameraucana, and some have said she's and EE! She lays very light blue eggs. The chick picture is from a year ago today. What do you think and why!
Yours are Easter Eggers. Which are a mixed breed.Hi New chicken keeper here!
i bought 3 Ameraucanas (apparently) from Runnings 8 weeks ago.
I have been reading and am getting mixed feelings about if it is actually a ameraucana or if I have an EE.. but Easter egger isnāt really a breed, right? Photos attached .

EEās produce blue eggs, right? So I should expect that color from them? Or is there possibility of green? I was hoping for an olive egger, but those are hard to come byEEs! No not really a breed.
EEs lay blue, green, olive, or brown. You're more than likely going to get green or brown... usually blue is a boon.EEās produce blue eggs, right? So I should expect that color from them? Or is there possibility of green? I was hoping for an olive egger, but those are hard to come by
