No, I was just given him today and was curious about him. I was told he is already 8 months old.Have any pictures of him as a chick or a description of his chick down?![]()
That is often helpful in determining genetics. Easter Eggers are crossbreeds with no true "variety" but he is close to blue golden duckwing. No, I was just given him today and was curious about him. I was told he is already 8 months old.
Yeah, agree. Just a big one.Sorry it isn't a very good picture. He actually does have a pea comb, it is just huge and was laying over on itself. I'll get a better picture of his comb.
Hello. He's absolutely gorgeous!! Very similar to my roo who I've been told on here is very likely a game fowl / americauna or EE mix.Hello! A gentleman in Lucasville, Ohio gave me an amazing looking rooster this evening. I finally have a rooster to look after my 5 hens. I have never raised any Easter Eggers or Ameraucanas before so I have no idea which this is. He said it was sold to him as an Ameraucana but it probably came from TSC or RuralKing so who knows if that is actually true. I am hoping the fine people on here can help me out a bit! I think it is a very large Blue Splash Wheaton but I could very well be wrong. Honestly, this is probably the largest rooster I have ever owned. I have no idea if it is an Easter Egger or Ameraucana though. Any help with my rooster would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. He will be breeding with Light Brahma's and Sapphire Gems. Already picturing a Light Brahma with muffs and a beard. Can't wait!
Also, He is only 8 months old, is he still growing?
Thanks Folks!
