Hello,

Long time lurker to BYC. I have an Ameraucana/EE (it's what the feed store had labeled on the bin that the chicks were in) Roo that we need to part with.

I will be completely honest he isn't a very nice Roo and has gone after all 3 of us and isn't nice to his hens at all. I think this may be in part that our current coop is on the small size and we are looking at building a new one and he is fairly large and is possibly stressed.

If anyone would like to take him on as a part of their flock or would like for him to make a one night appearance at their dinner table let me know. I live in the Snoqualmie, WA area.

This picture was taken 2 months ago when he was more tolerable to me holding him, he is currently 8 months old.

Hello and Welcome to BYC!
If he is not nice then there is a very small chance anyone will take him. I advise giving him to someone who slaughters them or do it yourself. Sorry to here you have a bad rooster. He is very pretty!

I've been looking for a place locally do that in the event I can't re-home him. When we have chickens they are pretty much treated like pets and I really don't have it in me to slaughter and process him myself.

I don't object to someone taking him to slaughter for a meal. He is a very pretty bird along with the other Ameraucana that ended up being a hen.
