Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

Just an update on how these BW boys are turning out. My silver hen has an affection with these boys beards. Overall I think they are REALLY nice looking.

Hello,
I'm looking for some Bantam AM eggs.... I am not feather color specific but they must have the Blue egg gene as this is for a project I'm working on. Any one have some True bantam AM's just off feather colors or something? (do not have much $ for this side project)

Thanks

These birds aren't directly from John Blehm, in case you misunderstood or I missed typing that key "Blehm Lined". The flock is 100% Blehm's line, but I don't know if this particular breeder has linebred to much or if she kept cull birds to breed with. I don't want anyone thinking these are straight from John.

Have another hatch of lavender ameraucana's on the ground. This batch produced a few more fast feathered girls for me than the last....5 lavs and 2 splits I think. I have an older chick too small to go into the grow out area in with the babies. She lets all the chicks gather under her wings and body like a good broody. She leads them to food and water and shows them how to scratch for food. It is very cute. I will have to take a picture of my teenage baby brooder!
