my flock of 6 ameraucanas are now 10weeks old! the 3 pullets have nice muffs and beards coming in, 2 of the cockerels have theirs coming in slowly but surely.. but 1 cockerel is still pretty much clean faced... (i can post pics tomorrow) So I was wondering, do yall think his muff and beard will eventually come in, or does he just have bad genes?

I will try to remember to take some pictures. I am a terrible picture taker but will give it a shot. My Lavender Ams from Harry are stingy with their eggs & the egg color is about the same intensity but a little on the gray side compared to the B/W, Splash, Blues & Black Splits. One of the blacks lays a lighter egg probably more what they are looking for.

Hi all,

I have 5 white ameraucana chicks that I hatched, they are now 4 weeks old and looking nice! I was wondering, when they were little, a couple were light grey/silver, but all are feathering in white and look the same. Why is that? I read about dominant white but did not fully understand it...
