sooo cute! Anyone know what I would get if I crossed an Ameraucan rooster with a Welsummer hen?

I did a search ... but I can't seem to find it ... could you help me out? I have a great rooster ... and only 1 Americana Hen ... but ... Those Welsummers give me at least 3 eggs a day ... I would love to set them ... but I was hoping to see what they might come out like ... or the egg ...

Yvonne-
looks like from your photos you have pure Ameraucana in black, light blue, dark blue, and blue posted.
Assuming the moms are pure you now have blue and blacks split to lav. Split blacks are your best bet
for lav breeding. It can be confusing trying to sort out blues and lavenders if you cross them.
They are pure and accepted colors in blue and black, technically lav is a project but will be accepted one day soon, right after splash probably.

They wouldnt be olive eggers because they are all ameraucana's.I think she put lavender roo but the lavender roo is a lavender ameraucana roo.I'm not good at genetics and I know the best way to get lavenders is to breed a lavender to black then breed the split black/lavenders to a lavender roo.But breeding lavender to BBS is a whole different story so someone else would have to help on that one.

JamesA-opps..I think you might have misread the posts
Daps2000 was asking what a Ameraucana and a Welsummer cross would make.
Yvonne37894 was aksing if her Ameraucanas were pure or EE's since they were crossed with your lav roo.
Now we are all as clear as mud I bet!! (0:

Are those Henry's children? He is such a nice boy wish I had known I was going to switch to breeding bbs ameraucanas I would have kept him and had a fertile boy for my flock.

Yes Henry..those are your grandbabies..and you are going to a have a ton of them on BYC from your former flock and the Favs!!
He really is the sweetest guy and king to the BBS pen and sex linked Olive Eggers.
I guess we have no way of knowing where life or our chicken adventures will take us...but I'm glad you get to
visit this breed you like on the thread!!
