[Hens and Roos]

We candled the eggs from Happy Mtn and 3 out of 4 Welsummer eggs were showing veins-the 4th one has darker spots on the shell and it's harder to tell. 4 out of the 6 BW/W Ameraucana eggs have good development, the 2 were clear looking and of course one of those slipped out of my hand and smashed. We'll see what a week does for them all.

Hi Everyone. I'm looking for good quality Ameraucana eggs. I'd like a variety of blue wheaten and b/b/s. Any thoughts who might have some available?

If you just can't wait, I strongly recommend Pips&peeps (Jean). Her birds are GORGEOUS and she does a great job packing. I got a great hatch from the eggs I bought from her. I know she has BBS and I think she has blue wheaten as well. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

My black bantam Ameraucana cock took reserve Ameraucana at the PNPA Northwest National show!! Woo Hoo!!! Can't feel too bad about getting beat by Jean!!

I don't know about the straight beaks - I don't actually own a SOP

BUT...in the pics of the Storey's that I do have, they are curved, and it only talks about color, not shape...so I dunno...maybe Jean will see this when she gets home, and will respond to it...

I mean its not like duck bill straight or anything its just some are curved more that others
