I was just comparing them to mine that are almost 8 wks old. They look larger, but maybe it's because I look at mine every day trying to definitely determine which are the roosters. Six I can easily pick out and I hope that is all I have.I was told they are about 10 week old
Sorry to hear that. I have my layers, then I have my Ameraucanas. Last year, I thought I was getting Ameraucanas, but they were EEs from a hatchery. I only have two left and they actually are fantastic layers. This year, I ordered my Ameraucanas from P. Smith, and they are beautiful. I have them because I love how they look and my grandsons love the blue eggs. I hope that they will lay as good as my EE's, but we will see.Im selling my ameraucanas. We need better layers.

How old are they?well I think its because they dont like their housing is all. But we aren't getting eggs and need eggs. They are beautiful. They are wheaten and blue wheaten. I think with a different housing they will lay lots of beautiful blue eggs for someone. We need to work on our housing.

All kinds of things can influence laying--stress, heat, protein levels. If you are blaming your housing, I wouldn't be blaming the chickens. How many eggs are you getting?maybe 10 months? They aren't even a year yet and started laying a couple months ago
