Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

I sold my EE's and wheaten ameraucana because I want to sell BBS ameraucana eggs and olive eggers and these girl would confuse me with there egg color. They were funny ones but I am glad they found good homes.

Got two more black pullets they look great they are from StandardBanty who bought them from Whitmore Farms. Now I am up to 6 black ameraucana pullets. In the next few weeks the blue and black I am getting from Paul Smith should arrive. He needs to get boxes first.

This is my Betsy she will be 2 years old this coming spring. She is by far my favorite out of my Ameraucana's...(she's a little spoiled will only eat out of my hand)......I think she is beautiful! (sorry not the best photo)

Now the reason for this post.........I would like to know what her coloring is considered or if it is considered anything. I have not used her for breeding yet but she does lay a fabulously huge sky blue egg

and she has a great personality.

What would I get if I used my Blue Ameraucana roo over her?
What would I get if I used my Black Ameraucana roo over her?
What would I get if I used my Splash Ameraucana roo over her?

Would you use her for breeding?

Give it to me straight..........I am open to all critiquing and I am very thick skinned. Nobody's opinion is going to upset me.

Second picture is just so you can see more of her

Thanks....she is pretty!

So she is considered a EE just because of her coloring, even though I hatched her out from my Blue Ameraucana's?

Going to apologize in advance as I am not as versed in my Ameraucana'a as my Welsummer's and Marans so there may be lots of questions.
I haven't been focusing on my AM's as I have been very busy with my others but this is the year that I will be working on my AM line.

BTW....she is the only one that I've hatched that has ever feathered out like this...with this coloring from my AM's.

Is there a possibility that she is carrying a recessive wheaton gene?

Thanks and yes both parents were blue.
I lost her mom last year to a predator and cycled her daddy out of my flock because I wasn't thrilled with his tail set or his sparse muffs. This year I out sourced for new blood and purchased eggs from Nivtup. He has beautiful birds and I am very pleased with my new roos. Can't wait to get started with them to see what they throw!

*edited to say* Wish I could get better pic's of her so you all could see her amazing lacing....this pic kind of blurr's her out.

Okay I would love some impute please I have 4 white/weaton ameraucanas (I know that they are EEs) but i would love to breed them I was thinking of getting a blue, splash or black Ameraucana rooster to breed with them to see what colors I would get or should I breed with a blue weaton I wanted lighter color EE's because some poeple have shown an interested in lighter colored EE any help would be appreciated.
These are my EE's

This is my one Ameraucana that I also want to breed I believe that she is a blue, is this correct and I should breed her with another blue to be a true Ameraucna correct

I am new to this so I want to do things right. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can also breed your blue Ameraucana hen above with a black or a splash. Just depends on what colors you want your chicks to be.

black x black = all black offspring

black x blue = 50% black, 50% blue

black x splash = 100% blue

blue x blue = 25% black, 50% blue, 25% splash

blue x splash = 50% blue, 50% splash

splash x splash = 100% splash
