Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

So am I unfortunate enough to have picked another EE in color? Or is he just a really bad splash?? Either way he's for sale, because I have waaaayyyy to many roosters.

Well that's just plain depressing. What about these two?

Considering he's the only person within 3 hours of me that claims to sell ameraucanas, I'm out of luck if they arent.
where are you? the breeder I bought my blues from is just north of Calhoun, not far off I-75.....he sells blues, wheatens and cream legbars

as for your guy, seem's that in "claims to sell ameraucanas", the key word there is 'claims'........

That would be about and hour and a half away from me, that might be manageable for next year. Well, I got chicks from the same guy last year, but only blues and blacks, and before the died they all looked pure... Sickly little birds. Dropped like flies after being introduced to mareks. Do you Minh giving me this persons information? I would love to get some wheatons!

Pictures of the black chick in question. The feathers are all ruffled up because of me and the wind.

Hackle area:

Fingers still crossed

Okay, I can't help with the blues, sorry. That black, I am thinking is a boy. She the nice, pointy, green and shiny feathers? I thought boy when I saw the wide comb. I have found that when I had my lavenders, they kept me guessing for quite sometime. What a glorious reason to raise wheatens!!!
