How is something technically considered a project color?
I would think that if I started working on a project to create purple polka dotted with orange columbian pattern, that it would then be a "project" color.I'm working on a new Ameraucana color and would love to know when it would be considered a project color![]()

alright, thank you. I was wondering because I'm preparing to start a project next year, and was curious to see how it will be received.I can only speak for myself . I consider it a project once I have started and have a goal . Not all projects are well received by others . I have had some in the past and currently have a couple . I think it best to wish everyone good luck on their projects . The test of time will determine if they catch on and make it into the standard . Projects are a huge investment of time , effort and money . So even if your color project is not my thing I chose to respect the time , effort and money you put into it .

Good question! The way I understand it, is that you are granting us rights to that image when you release it to the ABC club for our use.
I don't think that is how the copyright protection works. I think once you transfer it to us, it belongs to ABC. You can, of course, keep a copy for your own records, but our copyright protection would kick in if the image was found on another site online. But I would still have rights to use it however I wish or submit it to others to use as they wish? One would just be allowing you to use it for your sight and nothing else right?
I think I'll do that! And thank you for the help!Never pay much attention to the nay Sayers . Nothing would ever get done if you wait for their approval . Myself I will try to help if you have questions . Sometimes I just call them EE until I get them well on their way . Start a EE thread for your color project . Many of the negative people will not visit a EE thread . Cuts down on stress .![]()

Since no record is kept of who sends the pictures, we would have no way of knowing if a copy of that image showed up somewhere whether they were the original owners or if it was hijacked illegally off the site.
