Beautiful girls!!! Love those full beards!
Your lavender is a handsome boy. Did you get him from John Blehm at the show this past weekend? I got mine from John this summer, and have been very VERY happy with them.
Thanks! And Yeppers... He had 4 and I had a heck of a time choosing! What a nice guy (John is) and I couldn't be more thrilled with the bird. Can't wait till the freeloaders start laying....
MrsChickendad - LOL, the wheatens/blue wheatens are sooo beautiful. My BBS girls are very friendly.... when they think I have food
Or when I am trying to work on things in thier pen. Or when I try and get photos of the other birds in thier pens.
Thanks for liking my spoiled girls. I never got the Ameraucana thing, until I saw them in person. I was seduced by the fuzzy faces, haha. The blue eggs are a definate bonus. They also eat less and are alittle smarter then my original love, plymouth rocks.
I have a Black Roo and will put him over the blue and splash girls. The lavender can go over over the black girls. That will give me some split lavenders to work with, and I can take some of the blacks from the blue/black pen and use them in my Lav pen. I can't wait to hatch out some fuzzy faces!
