Yes. You could use any silver (S) based female and look for those that lay white or tinted eggs to produce blue-eggers. Some breeds should be better than others to use. I don't know if Sebrights are good layers to start with or the size of their eggs, but I do know they are a smaller bantam compared to Ameraucanas and others. Bantam white Leghorns would be a good cross and the two breeds I plan to use are medium sized bantams with eggs almost as large as the bantam buff Ameraucanas. The larger size of the birds should make them hardier in colder climates and the pea combs and muffs from the Ameraucana side should produce small pea or cushion combs with very small wattles.Could you do the same with silver Sebright?
