I have used the cuckoo project hens to produce sex links in Ameraucana . I can get black or lavender/self blue pullets . Males are cuckoo with a head spot at hatch .

Are the head spots obvious in the lavender/self blue? I'm thinking about a blue AM sex link project.

Silver-Blue AM Cockerel desperately seeking a silver-blue female for companionship! He is just too pretty to spend his life alone.

Yes you can see them . I hope this is the right picture . I can not enlarge it until I post it . Edited to add I will try to find a better picture . I forget the details on this one . Cuckoo males on left . Black pullets on upper right . I think there are 2 lavender pullets and one cockerel in the corner . I may have some hatch tomorrow . So I may get a new picture .

OK. Silver blue would be similar to blue silver. As a blue silver the silver females in the photos with him should be his mates. Together they would produce silver and blue silver chicks, similar to wheaten crossed with blue wheaten produces chicks of both varieties.

That helps me tremendously! I have too many silver pullets for the silver cockerel I'm planning to use! Thank you!

Too much silver through the chest and he should have more silver through the hackles. Might improve after molting.
